Terms & Conditions
The purchase of any itinerary is subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions below. By purchasing any of the products or services included in your custom itinerary, you agree to be bound by these terms.
All prices quoted on the website, in the itinerary and through any other means of communication are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). By purchasing an itinerary, you acknowledge that you have read the final version of this itinerary and agree to accept any and all products and services included in the total price.
Payment Policy
If arrival date of your vacation is within 35 days or less, full payment is required at time of booking. If arrival date is greater than 35 days, please contact your Travel Consultant for payment plan details. For all vacation rentals as well as any vacation with arrival dates between December 18 – January 5 or Easter Week, final payment is due 65 days prior to arrival and cancellations 64 days or less from arrival carry a 100% penalty. If vacation package includes a vacation rental (villa, condo, home), final payment is due 90 days prior to arrival. This payment may be made through bank transfer or credit card in the form of Visa, Mastercard or American Express. We are unable to accept personal or cashier’s checks.If paying for the vacation by wire transfer, by submitting credit card info as Interim Payment Method, you are committed to purchasing this vacation. This is not a “temporary hold” and these services cannot be cancelled OR modified without penalty. If your arrival date is 35 days or less from today, you have 1 business day to render payment via wire. If your arrival date is more than 35 days away, you have 3 business days to render payment via wire. Should you fail to do so, the credit card submitted to Namu Travel Group will be charged for the full price (no discount) of the vacation. You authorize Namu Travel Group to bill your card for the amount confirmed if you should fail to make payment via other means as outlined above.
Changes on Itineraries:
Any changes made to the package 35 days or more prior to arrival may incur a change fee of $125.00 USD. Changes within 34 days prior to arrival cannot necessarily be guaranteed, pending hotel and tour availability. Any additions to the package are not considered changes and can be made at any time, pending availability. Vacation Rental change policies are managed on a case by case basis, pending review of each property’s rules and guidelines.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation schedule & penalties:
- 35 days or more prior to departure—10% of total reserved item/package cost
- 34 days or less prior to departure—100% of total reserved item/package cost
- During vacation—100% of total reserved item/package cost
- Any Peak Season Vacation (December 18 – January 5):
- 65 days or more prior to departure – 10%
- 64 days or less prior to departure – 100% - Itineraries with Vacation Rentals:
- 90 days or more prior to departure – 50%
- 89 days or less prior to departure – 100%
International Air Fare:
Your international flights are not covered by Namu Travel and are booked on your own.
Travel Insured International
Namu Travel Group recommends the purchase of travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. We would be happy to make recommendations on your clients behalf, just ask the member of our team with whom you are working.
Responsibility and Liability
Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales, S.A., a Panamanian corporation doing business as Namu Travel Group, is solely a destination management company and does not operate the actual tours, services, accommodations, etc., associated with our client’s vacations. The carriers, hotels, vendors, tour providers and other suppliers providing travel or other services available to the client are Independent Contractors and are not Agents, Employees or Affiliates of Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales S.A. and/or Namu Travel Group or any of its affiliates.
Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales S.A. and/or any of its affiliates are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, misrepresentations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any such third party carrier, vendor or supplier of services or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses that may result therefrom.
Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales S.A. and its affiliates have no liability and will make no refund in the event that any third party provider service results in any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or other causes beyond our direct control. Any issues arising in connection with such third party carriers, vendors, etc., must be addressed directly with such third party provider in accordance with the procedures required by such third party. In the event that despite the limitation set forth above, Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales S.A. and/or any of its affiliates are found liable for any loss or damage which arises out of or in any way is connected with any of the occurrences described above, then the liability of Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales S.A. and/or its affiliates, will in no event exceed (i) the total amount paid by the client to Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales S.A. and/or its affiliates for the services contracted for or (ii) the amount of US $500.00, whichever ever amount is greater.
The limitation of liability reflects the allocation of risk between the parties. The limitations specified in this section will survive and apply even if any limited remedy specified in these terms is found to have failed of its essential purpose. The limitations of liability provided in these terms inure to the benefit of Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales S.A. and/ or its affiliates. You agree to defend and indemnify Corporacion de Viajes Mundiales S.A. and/or its affiliates and any of their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal fees, brought by third parties as a result of:
(a) your breach of this Agreement;
(b) your violation of any law; or the rights of a third party vendor, carrier, provider; or
(c) your violation of the rights of a third party vendor, carrier or provider.
